From Pastor Raleigh …

Do you know what prayer is? Prayer is foremost a love relationship with an all-wise, all- loving, all-powerful, all Holy Father God.The praying life is a life of intimacy with God for those who fear Him(Psalm 25:14), those who desire to hear and obey… out of love motivation (john 15:14), those who want to walk in agreement with Him (Amos 3:3,7) and those who have hearts that long for Him (Psalm 42).
It is cultivated by dailing reading His love letter to YOU (the Bible) and by desiring fellowship with Him. Intimacy with God in prayer is not for the quick inquirer, as if you left a cab at the curb with the meter running. God does not share His glory with those who come to use Him.God wants to speak to you as you allow Him to accomplish His purposes through your prayer life. UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS ON HIS HEART IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN TELLING HIM WHAT YOU WANT HIM TO DO. What He is telling you personally is more important to do …than what you want to do so DO WHAT HE WANTS YOU TO DO.. He created you with a plan and purpose which is only found through Him. So seek Him in Prayer always.
A message from Pastor Raleigh

If you’re reading this and don’t have a church home be assured God has one especially for you. God loves you with an unfailing love. God wants you to experience that love. God wants you to receive it as well in a church and allow you to share His love with others in His church too. Many people have tried the church scene and have come away very disappointed. It shouldn’t be that way. I would like to encourage you to give Faith Community Church of Peru, Indiana a try. A church where love for God and one another is real. If you will take time to read I Corinthians chapter 12 and come to our church with that heart and mind set spoken there you will experience God’s presence in this place.  We are currently very small in size but big in love for God and one another. I believe that people are to be in the church that God wants them in not the one they want to be in. I hope and pray that you will come as our guest with a hope that Faith Community is the home God wants you to be a part of.

We have tried to prepare you with a Gospel presentation, how to pray effectively for lost people, a blog with informative and encouraging messages, 24/7 praise, worship and harp and bowl music, a prayer request page and much, much more. It is our prayer that this website will so bless you that you will keep coming back again and again. This is only the beginning. Please pray for us as we try to be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit and bring forth what God wants here.
